I’m 64. To me, it’s pronunciation, because I was raised and went to school during a time we were taught correctly. Now I might have forgotten when to use a comma and all of that, but I do remember correct spelling and proper words.
Like invitation. Some people say ‘invite’. “I’m going to send her an ‘invite’.” And it’s supposed to be correct? Really? I know I have to brush up on my grammar. Some people could care less.
Wow this is odd. I just wrote an extremely long message but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t show up. Anyhow, just wanted to say superb dictionary.
What’s happening I am new to this language, I managed to find this I have found It totally useful and it has aided me out loads. I hope to contribute and help other users like it has aided me. Great website.
