Incorrect spelling, explanation: Saterday is a misspelling, as the word Saturday (the correct spelling) comes from planet Saturn (and Roman god Saturn). The word in Old English was spelled sæterdæg meaning day of the Saturn and therefore Saturday is the correct spelling.
Correct spelling, explanation: this word comes from the name of the planet Saturn (day of planet Saturn, which was obviously connected to the Roman god of the same name. This is why we spell this day of the week as Saturday, not Saterday. The latter may be a misspelling due to British pronunciation. The correct form is Saturday though.
Definition of Saturday:
noun, seventh or sixth day of the week (depending on the culture) following Friday
Are you going to Matt’s party on Saturday?
We are going on holiday on Saturday evening, and we will be back by next Thursday.

It’s saterday!!
Saturday is the seventh day of the week upon the Gregorian Calendar. It was named after the planet within the 2nd century by the Romans. The planet was named for the Roman god of agriculture. It has been called dies Saturni (“Saturn’s Day”), through which has evolved into Old English as Saterdaeg and gradually evolved into the word “Saturday.”
