Incorrect spelling, explanation: this mistake is common due to the regular way ordinal numbers are created in English. We usually add the -th ending to a specific number (just look at the examples: 15th, 28th, and 67th). The first three numbers are exceptions because we have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. When one forgets about this rule, they spell 92nd as 92th.
Correct spelling, explanation: 92nd is an ordinal number that appears between ninety-first and ninety-third. As a full number, it is spelled as ninety-second. When an ordinal number ends with the number two, we must add the irregular suffix -nd to the end of the number. That’s why the correct form is 92nd, not 92th.
Definition of 92nd:
numeral, coming next after the ninety-first in position
I didn’t get into college – I was only 92nd on the entrance list.
I wanted to take 92nd place because there were as many as 1000 participants.

It is 92nd. There is no past, present or future tense in numbers hun. If an athlete is moving up in rank among other athletes, it’s predicted he will rank second not secondth or seconth. Those are not real words anyways.
I’ve just heard a newsreader say that if Lewis Hamilton wins in Portugal it will be his 92nd win when surely it’s his 92th win
If it’s his 92nd win doesn’t that mean he will win by 92 seconds which doesn’t make sense as it’s in the future so it’d be a prediction
There is certainly a lot to know about English language. I really like all of the definitions you have prepared on that guide.
I just added this English dictionary to my fast links, nice stuff. Can not get enough!
