I seem to remember that throughout school (1964 – 1977) and beyond we spelled it “Philipino”. I feel sure that it was written this way in encyclopedias, dictionaries, newspapers, etc. When was this changed?
Good comparison. I will be facing a few of these definitions in my assignment.
