Yes, you will see it from time to time but this is outdated and not frequently used. This is why you always want to use the form leaned, but to give our users the full picture we have decided to add explanations to both spellings. Thank you for your comment!
“Leaned” is most common in the US, whereas in the UK you will also see “Leant”. Both are clearly listed in the OED as correct, so this page is incorrect.
This is incorrect. “Leant” is the correct past tense of the verb ” to lean”. “Leaned” is a common mistake.

I was just seeking this information for some time. After 3 minutes of constant searching, at last I got it in this spelling site. I wonder what is the lack of Google policy that don’t rank this type of informative sites in top of the results. Generally the top websites are mostly spam.
