Incorrect spelling, explanation: scaleable is a misspelling, but a very common one. Why? Because the adjective scalable is a derivative of the verb scale. As you can see, it ends with the -e letter. Although, you have to remember that these two vowels: -e and -a (from the suffix -able) cannot occur alongside each other. That’s why it disappears in the spelling. Scalable is the only correct version.
Correct spelling, explanation: the adjective scalable is a derivative of the verb scale. To create a verbal adjective, one must add the regular suffix -able to the end of the root – that is the general rule. However, when a verb ends in a silent -e, we drop the -e. Therefore, the correct form is scalable and the incorrect one is scaleable.

No, sorry. Scalable is by common usage (American English and Tech / IT users mostly) the prevalent form. But scaleable is equally valid, and used in English/British English in preference.
I think scalable has become more popularised due to big tech and online technology.
